Press Release Body = What is keeping you from making a high 6-figure income?

Sometimes it is difficult to admit, but we are the reason. Here are a few reasons
why most will never reach financial independence and how you can break-the-mold:

Consistency

"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds." Ralph Waldo Emerson
Self-Reliance (1841)

We are told by Doctors of Psychology that children need consistency in their lives.
As responsible parents, consistent patterns are adhered to for the sake of proper
development of our children. As we become adults, we follow the patterns that we
were taught and experienced: finish school, get a job, get married, raise and
educate our children to do the same. We have been trained to follow a pattern of
consistency. What we have not realized is that we have been following a pattern of
consistent middle-class poverty.

Comfort

As unrefined and basic as an animal's emotional equipment may be, it is not
insensitive to freedom. Somewhere in the archives of crudest instinct is recorded
the truth that it is better to be endangered and free than captive and comfortable.

Somewhere during the civilization of human kind, we lost the instinct of freedom.
We voluntarily become slaves to creditors and employers for the sake of unrealized
financial comfort.

Employment

The most memorable conversations I had with my Grandfather were the stories of his
life and the jobs he worked. He was born and raised on a horse ranch in the midst
of the great Western frontier. While in his late teens, his Father died in a barn
accident, his Mother sold the horse ranches and he was forced to find a job. He
performed hard labor in the coal mines for many years. After being diagnosed with
black-lung, he left the coal mines and began working at a service station pumping
gas and changing tires and oil. The service station owner was preparing to retire,
when my Grandfather offered to buy the station. The remainder of his working years
he generated wealth 6 days a week, 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., operating his own
business; he closed the business on Sundays to take my Grandmother to church and
fly-fish in the clear streams of Wyoming.

One Sunday afternoon, amidst the foliage that draped a slow running, rainbow trout
filled stream, my Grandfather whispered, "you will never become rich working for
someone else." "What?!?" I exclaimed. Grandfather quickly moved to another part of
the stream, were the fish had not been spooked by an easily excited youth. I never
understood his subtle advice until I had entered the workforce as an employee.

Working for an established business brings job security and many benefits. It is a
safe and comforting feeling knowing that day-in and day-out, working 40 hours a week
will yield a staple paycheck. The affordable company insurance plan takes care of
my family in times of sickness. It is further comforting to know that with each
annual review, I will receive a normal and consistent raise, about 3-6%, and
occasional promotion for an additional 3-6%. After 20 years of labor, I will have
increased my worth by 200%! Mathematically, I will have gone from a starting annual
salary of $33,000 (1989) to just slightly over $99,000 (2009).

My salary will not be anything near the Millionaire status my Grandfather had
achieved. So that is what my Grandfather was trying to tell me.

Employee Mentality

"Employment causes the most industrious to strive for acceptable productivity."

In other words, you get what you pay for. If you want a consistent and comfortable
employee, hire one. If you want a driven, hard working, imaginative, income
producing individual, seek out a successful entrepreneur.

The Price of Wealth

"The price of wealth is too high."

The only people I have ever heard say "the price of wealth is too high," were from
those that were not wealthy. To be wealthy takes more than money, it takes the
right mindset.

Billionaire Sam Walton understood value, a fair price, and had the right mindset
toward wealth. Frugal, imaginative, persistent, hard working, and Christian values
are adjectives that best describe Sam Walton. Despite Mr. Walton being the
wealthiest man in the world, he drove an old pick-up truck, bought his clothes from
no place other than Wal-Mart, and continued to be the most innovative entrepreneur
in retail.

It takes money to make money. After leaving the military in 1945, Sam Walton
borrowed $20,000 from his father-in-law, plus $5000 of his life savings to open his
first store. This was a bold move that those with the employee mentality would
never consider. Entrepreneurs take calculated risks and will spend life savings
with the potential to earn greater wealth.

Lack of Knowledge

Sam Walton understood, Grand-dad was right, Psychologists are correct, Ralph Waldo
Emerson eloquent and blunt: to become independently wealthy you must work for
yourself, never become complacent, use the God given talents within each of us, and
live a life consistent with the Millionaire Mindset.

If our parents, teachers, and mentors in our lives cannot provide the information,
experience, and knowledge how to become wealthy, who can? Answer: Self-established
millionaires. The only way to raise your income is to surround yourself with
wealthy people. Millionaires enjoy helping those that help themselves. Seek out
and find some millionaires today.
